PM93453: ABEND0C2 IN IEAVTSFR WHILE COLLECTOR SHORT ON STORAGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• OMEGAMON DB2 was experiencing storage issues, C78 and 878
  abends. Messages KO2O1941E Return code 00000008 and KO2O1942E
  Return Code 0000007B are seen in the collector job. As there was
  no OMEGAMON DB2 dump to analyze these symptoms may not be
  germane to the issue.
  
  Module IEAVTSFR is incurring ABEND0C2 when called by IEAVBWTO.
  It was determined that a Branch Entered Write To Operator
  (BE WTO) was being issued by OMEGAMON DB2 in problem program
  state. A BE WTO must be entered in Supervisor state. WTO
  messages might be deleted on the issuing LPAR but not on other
  LPARs in the PLEX. APAR OA42823 further describes this
  condition.
  
  This APAR is opened to investigate where OMEGAMON DB2 may be
  issuing BE WTO while in Problem Program State and insure that
  the WTO is issued in the correct state.

  OMPE Collector to abnormally terminate.

  Issue WTO with LINKAGE=SVC when the issuer of WTO is executing
  In problem state. Also recommend customer apply z/OS APAR
  OA42823.
