  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An in-doubt XA transaction may be       *
  *                      incorrectly committed when a            *
  *                      channel terminates.                     *
  *                                                              *
  *                      Also, an S5C6 abend with reason code    *
  *                      00E70056 may occur when a SVRCONN       *
  *                      channel terminates unexpectedly.        *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  After applying the PTF for APAR PM72557, when a SVRCONN
  channel has an in-doubt XA transaction when it terminates,
  the transaction may be unintentionally committed without
  being coordinated by the XA Transaction Manager.
  
  In addition, SVRCONN channel failures, such as a network
  socket failure, may result in an S5C6-00E70056 abend
  occurring when the channel shuts down due to an internal
  conversation block not being freed correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• The processing introduced by APAR PM72557 has been reverted and
  the original problem has been addressed by a different fix
  design.
