Error description

• ABEND S0C4 when using user exit and the size of work area
  in the exit is slightly larger than the maximum segment length.
  Other symptom is possible depending on which area is following
  the work area.

  ABEND0C4 occurs when using user exit and the size of work area
  in the exit is larger than the maximum segment length.
  Other symptom is possible depending on which area is following
  the work area.
  

Problem conclusion

• HP Load has been modified to obtain a little larger size of
  work area for the maximum segment length and to ABENDU3713 if
  the size is insufficient.
  If you encounter ABENDU3713, modify the size of work area that
  is defined in user exit to reflect the maximum segment length.
  The size should be the same as the maximum segment length or
  a little larger.

  2.5.1 Parameters for the user exit interface
    :
        A(work area)
           Address of a segment work area that is large enough to
           hold the largest possible segment defined in the DBD
           being used.
  |        The size should be the same as the maximum segment
  |        length or a little larger.
           If a segment length change is required, this area must
           be used.
