PM92573: VARIOUS UPDATES TO IMS CONNECT EXTENSIONS 220

Error description

• This APAR addresses several issues with CEX220:
  1. IMS Connect V12 APAR PM33388 added the variable section to
     Event 68 and IMS Connect Extensions did not include the
     section in the event record description.
  2. IMS Connect Extensions is validating the Userid and Password
     for a sync callout response. This is incorrect as the
     response is considered a data transmission not a transaction.
  3. CEXOREXX PASSAPPL only works with statically allocated
     libraries.
  4. Active session detail display "SMHWSID" was too long error.
  
  5. Refresh of TXN and APP causes them to be added when not
     defined to the system.

  This APAR addresses several issues with CEX220:
  1. IMS Connect V13 added the variable section to events 67
  and 68.
  2. IMS Connect Extensions is validating the Userid and Password
  for a sync callout response. This is incorrect as the response
  is considered a data  transmission not a transaction.
  3. CEXOREXX PASSAPPL only works with statically allocated
  libraries.
  4. Active session detail display "SMHWSID" was too long error.
  5. Refresh of TXN and APP causes them to be added when not
  defined to the system.
  6. CEX issues RACROUTE call when the client sends a blank USERID
  and/or password. IMS Connect issues message HWSP1503E for
  this condition.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes have been made for the above issues:
  1. Included the variable section in events 67 and 68 record
  macros.
  2. Removed security checking for inbound sync callout responses.
  3. Fixed CEXOREXX PASSAPPL support.
  4. Fixed string copy to variable SMHWSID.
  5. Fixed refresh processing for transactions and applications.
  6. Changed the CEX code to emulate the processing of IMS Connect
  for this condition by issuing message CEX5592E Security
  violation, no RACROUTE call when either the USERID and/or the
  PASSWORD is blanks or nulls.
