  *                      Tools Base Administration Console       *
  *                      for z/OS v1.4.0                         *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Install corrective service for APAR/PTF      *

  This update provides the following enhancements:
  
  - Administration Console can now be installed by using any
    Installation Manager mode: administrator, nonadministrator,
    and group. Without this update, Administration Console can be
    installed by using administrator mode only.
  
  - Member AIIGSRV is updated. The Administration Console web
    server user directory is changed from 'wlp/usr' to 'wlpusr'
    If you are updating a previously installed version of
    Administration Console on z/OS you must update your customized
    AIIGSRV copy by following the instructions below.
  
  - Various minor defects that affect typical product usage are
    resolved.
  

Problem conclusion

• After the SMP/E RECEIVE and APPLY process is complete, this
  update must be applied by using Installation Manager. The
  original Administration Console installation package must be
  replaced with the new one that is delivered with this PTF, and
  then the update can be applied on Windows or on z/OS:
  
  - On Windows, launch Installation Manager from the Windows
  Start menu and click Update.
  
  - On z/OS, complete the following steps:
    - Run member AIIGINS, which is delivered as part of the
      IBM Tools Base for z/OS SMP/E installation.
  
      After you successfully run AIIGINS, the job log states
      that the com.ibm.imac_1.4.0.20130730_1746 repository was
      installed or modified in the Administration Console
      installation directory.
  
    - If you have already installed the GA version of
      Administration Console V1.4, you can complete either of the
      following steps:
      - Replace member AIIGSRV, which is in the SAIISAMP data set,
        with the updated version of member AIIGSRV that is
        delivered with this PTF. Then customize and run the
        updated version of AIIGSRV, following the instructions
        that are provided in the member.
  
   Or
  
      - Change the copy of AIIGSRV that you already modified for
        the GA version by changing '/wlp/usr' to '/wlpusr' in the
        pathname that is specified for userdir symbolic variable.
  
        For example, change:
  //  SET USERDIR='/usr/lpp/toolsbase/adminconsole140/wlp/usr'
        to:
  //  SET USERDIR='/usr/lpp/toolsbase/adminconsole140/wlpusr'
  
    - If you are installing Administration Console for the first t
      or you are not replacing an existing version of Administrati
      Console, follow the instructions in the Administration Conso
      Program Directory and member AIIGREAD.
  
  After you successfully install this update, the Administration
  Console About page displays build number 201307221421.
  
  To view the About page, click Help > About in the Administration
  Console interface.
