Error description

• 1. ABENDS0C4-11 occurs IPIGGET
  Program-switch transactions that have abended and are not
  released are cloned and re-queued by IMS PA for subsequent
  reporting. Where the abending program-switch transaction is
  itself the top-level, or parent transaction, this re-queueing
  should not take place.
  2. IMS PA may abend S0C7 if it encounters invalid hex data in
  log record fields (in particular IMS x'08' records) that should
  contain only packed-decimal data.
  3. IMS PA Monitor reports may not correctly identify (P)WFI
  transactions in IMS V11 and above. This impacts reporting using
  the IMSPAMON ALTSCHED command.

  This APAR is addressing the following issues:
  1.Program-switch transactions that have abended and are not
  released are cloned and re-queued by IMS PA for subsequent
  reporting. Where the abending program-switch transaction is
  in itself the top-level, or parent transaction, this
  re-queueing should not take place.
  2.IMS PA may abend S0C7 if it encounters invalid hex data in
  log record fields (in particular IMS x'08' records) that
  should contain only packed-decimal data.
  3.IMS PA Monitor reports may not correctly identify (P)WFI
  transactions in IMSV11 and above.
  This impacts reporting using the IMSPAMON ALTSCHED command.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes have been made for the above issues:
  1.Abended program-switch transactions can not be re-queued for
  subsequent reporting when they are the top-level, or parent
  transaction, as this may result in duplication of records and
  subsequent corruption of program  chains.
  2.Additional validation of IMS x'08' log records is performed to
  ensure that packed-decimal fields contain valid data,
  invalid fields are ignored for  subsequent processing.
  3.In IMS V11 (and above) Monitor record X'4E14' SL14SUBQ field i
  changed for SUBQ type 6.
