PM91050: CUA DISPLAY CICS DB2 THREADS KD2OCICD RETURNS RC=20 WHEN DISPLAY BY PACKAGE 13/06/14 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User logons on to CUA, On screen KD2001 enter S - Show Details
  for CICS workload. On screen KD2OCICD enter S next to a CICS
  regions. If the display order is set to package (PACK) in
  Options, Controls user will get the following pop
  
  ============================================
  Your request cannot be processed because
  of an internal OMEGAMON problem.
  
  Call the IBM Support Center with
  the following information:
  
  Sort error, RC=20
  
  Press PF12 to logoff.
  ============================================
  
  If there are no plans running with a package this pop may be
  followed by another pop up indicating there are no package based
  threads running.
  
  If the display order is by PLAN the user will get screen
  KD2OCITD showing the DB2 threads running in the selected CICS
  region.
  
  RC20 return code 20
  
  This is for V511 at UK83022 level. For V510 see APAR PM44778 .
  

Local fix

• In the CUA set the display order to PLAN or use the classic VTAM
  interface.
  
  In CUA to set the display order to plan
  logon to CUA
  Enter O for options
  Enter 2 for Controls
  On KD2PTRMP toggle Display threads by: to plan
  
  or
  Logon to classic VTAM interface
  Select U  THREAD ACTIVITY ...... Thread activity information by
  package
  Select C-CICS
  On screen ZCICSU place cursor on first package name and press
  PF10 to sort
