  *                 jobs and store HDPC reports in the Output    *
  *                 repository of IMS Tools Knowledge Base.      *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR provides the following        *

  This APAR provides the following enhancements:
  - HD Pointer Checker (HDPC) has been enhanced to print the HD
    Pointer Checker Message Summary report to the SUMMARY data set
    when you use the HASH Check option in IMS Database
    Reorganization Expert (DB Reorg Expert) jobs. HDPC has also
    been enhanced to store the report in the Output repository of
    IMS Tools Knowledge Base (ITKB).
  
  - HDPC has been enhanced to print the HD Pointer Checker Message
    Summary report to the SUMMARY data set when you use the HASH
    Check option in IMS Database Recovery Facility (DRF) jobs.
    HDPC has also been enhanced to store the following HDPC
    reports in the ITKB Output repository:
    - Environment of DMB Directory report (for HIDAM primary and
      secondary indexes)
    - Run time option for DB/DSG of Separator page for DB/DSG
      report (for HIDAM primary and secondary indexes)
    - Scan of HISAM Database report
    - Scan of Index Database report
    - Validation of a Pointer to a Target at SCAN report
    - HASH Evaluation report
    - Block Map and Block Dump report
    - HD Pointer Checker Summary report (for primary and secondary
      indexes)
    - HD Pointer Checker Message Summary report
  
  To store the reports in the ITKB Output repository under DB
  Reorg Expert or DRF, you need perform the following:
  - If you want to store the reports in the ITKB Output repository
    under DRF, you must apply APAR PM33069 to DRF.
  - You need to modify and submit the FABPIRG1 JCL in the SHPSSAMP
    data set to register HDPC reports with ITKB. Even if IMS HP
    Pointer Checker Version 3 Release 1 has been already defined
    in ITKB registry, you must perform the FABPIRG1 JCL. If the
    FABPIRG1 JCL has already been performed, you do not have to
    run the FABPIRG1 JCL again.
  
  Additionally, this APAR fixes the problem that when you use the
  Standard Check function (HASH=NO) in HDPC stand-alone jobs, HDPC
  incorrectly stores the Block Map and Block Dump report whose
  content is empty in the ITKB Output repository though the report
  is not printed to the SNAPPIT data set.
