When using the integration with RequisitePro, Rational Quality Manager uses several functions for reading data. During this process RequisitePro loads objects into memory which are re-used while the application is working in the same project. After each request, RequisitePro refresh the objects in order to ensure the integrity of the data.

Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: Users working with the Rational Quality Manager integration with Rational RequisitePro PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using the integration with RequisitePro, Rational Quality Manager uses several functions for reading data. During this process RequisitePro loads objects into memory which are re-used while the application is working in the same project. After each request, RequisitePro refresh the objects in order to ensure the integrity of the data.
Problem conclusion
The RequisitePro code was modified and the fix now works in conjunction with the flag "NotReuseRqProxyRest" (which can be found in the config.txt file). Whenever the flag is set TRUE, each call will create a new process for handling the request and will be deleted at the end of the process preventing the execution of the refresh action The fix for this APAR was included in RequisitePro version 7.1.3.8 and 7.1.4.1
