Error description

  • The customer is upgrading to TM1 10.1.1 FP1.????During their
upgrade tests they run into a fully reproducible TM1 Server
Hang, which happens when a client application extracts data from
a cube using the TM1 API fct "TM1ViewExtractGetNext" and at the
same time another client is trying to calculate a cube view
using the TM1 API fct "TM1ViewArrayCalculate", for example when
a cube view is opened or recalculated in the TM1 Cube
Viewer.????The TM1 Server Hang is not reproducible when using
TM1 10.1.0 FP1 instead of TM1 10.1.1 FP1.????In the customer's
environment, the client application which extracts data from a
cube using the TM1 API fct "TM1ViewExtractGetNext" is the
Cubeware Olap Importer, a third party ETL tool. As IBM Cognos
does not perform tests against third party tools, the customer
wrote a small .Net application using the TM1 .Net API
replication the extract operation performed by the Cubeware Olap
Importer, see the attached testcase to reproduce the TM1 Server
Hang.??
