Error description

  • Two problems will be fixed with this APAR:
    1. If all the following conditions are met, Index Builder
        issues MSGIIUB062I and ABENDU707:
        - DDEFPDS DD statement is coded
        - DD statements for secondary indexes are coded
        - 'INPUT DFSURWF1' is specified in IIUIN

        IIUB062I DYNALLOC FAILURE; DD=IIUDLDFM FUNC=ALLOC    RC=12
                 RSN=035C0003

    2. If all the following conditions are met, Index Builder
        issues MSGIIUB060E:
        - Limited APF authorization mode is used.
        - The source segment of PSINDEX is root.

        IIUB060E xxxxxxxx NUMBER OF RECORDS MISMATCH - REASON=794
                 NUM OF RECORDS MISMATCH: SECONDARY INDEX

Local fix

  • For problem #1, workaround is to use MDA members instead of
    coding the DBDS DD statements in the JCL.
