Error description

• A Report Studio report with Drill Down configured is unable to
  Drill Down on a Child Member in a report that has 2 Members from
  the same Level, Child Members of one Level and a Data item using
  children() function for the other Level in the report. ??The
  Report was created in Cognos 8.4.1 and worked as expected.
  Users could drill down in the report without error.  The issue
  occurs with the upgraded report or with a report that is created
  in Cognos 10.2.??Attempting to drill down results in an
  error:??RSV-SRV-0040  ?The report server encountered an internal
  error. Check additional information associated with this error
  message. If cause of problem cannot be ascertained, increase the
  logging level in the IBM Cognos administration tool and
  reproduce the conditions that caused the error. If the problem

Local fix

• Replacing the Data Item that uses the children() function with i
  ndividual Child Members allows the Drill Down to function withou
  t error.
