Problem summary

•   USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for
                    z/OS who use the Generate (GEN  function on
                    a STORED PROCEDURE.
  
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When performing the GEN command on
                         sample STORED PROCEDURE DSN8EN1, it
                         failed with error message
                         ADB1932W / msgadb1932w:
  
                         ADB1932W Parser error -
                         the original DDL will be generated
                         for the following object.  Please
                         verify the DDL
                                     Reason code = 28
                                     DSN8.DSN8EN1
  
                         The STORED PROCEDURE declares
                         a SQL variable with the CCSID
                         clause preceding the FOR
                         subtype DATA clause.
                         For example:
  
                         CREATE PROCEDURE XXX.XXXX
                         ...
                         BEGIN
                         ...
                           DECLARE AAA CHAR(1  CCSID
                                   UNICODE FOR MIXED DATA
                         ...
                         END
  
    RECOMMENDATION:
  
  When performing a GEN on a STORED PROCEDURE which declares a
  SQL variable with the CCSID clause preceding the FOR subtype
  DATA clause, it fails.
