PM89241: SESSION PARAMETER IS EMPTY WHEN USED IN OPEN SESSION COMMAND

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is using a virtual private database from Oracle. The
  policy predicate is passed using a session parameter in an open
  command session block. When a dimension based on such a table is
  used in Analysis Studio, the session parameter is empty when
  passed to Oracle. Depending on the setup of the virtual private
  database either an error is displayed (ANS-MES-0003) or the
  dimension shows no members.?This behavior does not happen in
  Report Studio or Cognos Workspace Advanced. It also does not
  occur, when a static value is used instead of the session
  parameter.
