APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The SET command TCPIP-STC-NAME did not override the parmlib parm
TCPIP_STC_NAME.
The code has been changed to do the override correctly.

Local fix

  • Use the TCPIP_STC_NAME in Parmlib to change the TCPIP started
task name.

Problem summary

  •   USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 Cloning Tool.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The SET command TCPIP-STC-NAME did not
                       override the parmlib parm
                       TCPIP_STC_NAME. The code has been
                       changed to do the override correctly.

  RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.

Code has been changed to correct this condition.
