PM88740: IMS PA MONITOR PROGRAM ANALYSIS REPORTS MAY INCORRECTLY ASSIGN CALLS TO PSBNAME/FUNCTION OF "I/O PCB GU"

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• For Monitor reporting IMS PA attempts to verify that it has
  valid and complete information for the initial DLA
  (non-database) call. If the initial call duration is zero it
  incorrectly assumes that it has incomplete data and assigns a
  default PSBname / Function of "I/O PCB  GU".
  
  This is a forward fit of IMSPA V420 APAR PM88736.

Problem conclusion

• Expand initial DLA call validation when the duration is zero
  so as not to overwrite valid call data.
  Also, Sundry dialog validation and help updates.
