Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED:                                              *
  *                 All users of Tools Customizer of z/OS.       *
  *                                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  *                      1- From the  Customizer Workplace       *
  *                      panel, when the user issues any of the  *
  *                      line commands on this panel,            *
  *                      Tool Customizer executes the line       *
  *                      command and the cursor moved to the     *
  *                      command line rather than to the         *
  *                      original position. This issue has       *
  *                      been fixed. The cursor has been         *
  *                      restored to the original  position.     *
  *                                                              *
  *                      2- On "Finish Product Customization"    *
  *                      panel, we have updated the instruction  *
  *                      text to make it clear that the user     *
  *                      does not need to resubmit all the jobs  *
  *                      for re-customization.                   *
  *                                                              *
  *                      3- From the "Product Parameters"        *
  *                      panel, when the user deselects an       *
  *                      optional task or step, currently        *
  *                      the user must enter the required        *
  *                      parameters that belong to this task     *
  *                      or step before deselecting the task     *
  *                      or step. After this fix, it is no       *
  *                      longer required to enter the required   *
  *                      parameters for an optional task to      *
  *                      deselect it.                            *
  *                                                              *
  *                      4- From the  Customizer Workplace       *
  *                      panel, when the user issues a command   *
  *                      and line commands at the same time.     *
  *                      Currently Tool Customizer executes      *
  *                      the line command for all the DB2        *
  *                      entries. This issue has been fixed      *
  *                      with this PTF.  After the PTF is        *
  *                      applied Tool Customizer executes        *
  *                      only the line command for the DB2       *
  *                      entry where a that has line command     *
  *                      is specified.                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      5- On the  Tools Customizer Settings    *
  *                      panel, when the user enters a data      *
  *                      store where the user does not have      *
  *                      alter authority, Tools Customizer       *
  *                      displays the following message on       *
  *                      the terminal indicating that            *
  *                      Tools Customizer can not free the       *
  *                      dataset. After the PTF is applied       *
  *                      Tool Customizer displays the error      *
  *                      message the data store can not be       *
  *                      created.                                *
  *                                                              *
  *                      6- From the "Copy associated DB2 Entry" *
  *                      panel, when the user initiates a point  *
  *                      and shoot of the "SELECTALL" command,   *
  *                      the command does not get executed until *
  *                      the user moves the cursor to a          *
  *                      different place. After the PTF The      *
  *                      cursor will move to the command line.   *
  *                                                              *
  *                      7- On the Tools Customizer Exec,        *
  *                      the comment for debug level "0"         *
  *                      has been updated to more clearly        *
  *                      describe "0" is the "minimum trace      *
  *                      level".                                 *
  *                                                              *
  *                      8- From the  Customizer Workplace       *
  *                      panel, when the user edits the product  *
  *                      parameters for a product and then       *
  *                      cancels the changes. The status is      *
  *                      "Incomplete". But when the user         *
  *                      customizes the same product again,      *
  *                      the status for product should be        *
  *                      "Incomplete" not "Ready to Customize".  *
  *                      After the PTF, the status for the       *
  *                      product parameters will show            *
  *                      "Incomplete".                           *
  *                                                              *

  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  Code has been changed to correct this condition.
