Error description

  • You are attempting to map the WebSphere MQ SMF records by
    executing the following.
    CSQDQWST DSECT=YES,SUBTYPE=ALL
    CSQDQWAS DSECT=YES,SUBTYPE=ALL
The missing macros can be found in technote 1197072.
WMQ Assembler macros for SMF type115 and 116 records
    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21197072
    .
You copied the macros but it did not resolve the problem.
    ADDITIONAL SYMPTOMS :
SCSQMACS library missing macro CSQDQTST ( Topic Manager )

Local fix

  • You can circumvent the problem with CSQDQWST by coding
    CSQDQWST DSECT=YES,SUBTYPE=1
    .
The problem with CSQDQWAS can be circumvented by
assembling with the CSQDQ7AC macro given in technote 1197072

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 'ASMA057E Undefined operation code' is *
    * issued when assembling applications *
    *                      that map SMF115/116 records using       *
    * macros CSQDQWAS and CSQDQWST. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
When the SUBTYPE parameter is used when including macros
CSQDQWAS and/or CSQDQWST, the macros include other macros which
define the self defining parts of the SMF records, and the data
areas located using them. As part of this the macros attempt to
include IBM internal macros that are not shipped, leading to the
    reported error.
In addition to this, in CSQDQWST the mapping for subtype 2 is
incorrectly labeled subtype 1, and subtype 1 is incorrectly
labeled subtype 0, and the CSQDQTST macro is missing from the
    SCSQMACS dataset.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQDQWAS and CSQDQWST are updated to correctly map the SMF 115
and 116 records, including only data macros for
    documented/shipped sections.
This APAR also ships macro CSQDQTST, which is used by CSQDQWST
and was incorrectly not shipped with the product.
