PM87036: PDF HANGING IN COGNOS 10.2 WITH IE 8 OR 9

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When downloading PDF files in Cognos 10.2, the browser will hang
  intermittently.
  

Local fix

• 1) Have the PDF display outside the browser 2) Modify the report
   so that it runs rather than displays latest version of the repo
  rt; or 3) From the View the report output versions choose Downlo
  ad from the actions menu.
