Error description

  • When running DBRC API batch job with RECON MDA placed in a
    non-APF authorized library under the //IMSDALIB DD, the DBRC
    API batch job abend S306-C.

Problem summary

    *                      authorized library under //IMSDALIB DD. *

    * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF      *
    ****************************************************************
    According to the "Runtime considerations for the DBRC API" text
    section about a program that runs APF Authorized and the library
    containing the MDA members that is not APF Authorized, allocate
    it using IMSDALIB as the DD name.
    
    When the customer tried to run this configuration, their program
    failed with ABENDS306-C due access being denied for non
    authorized program.
