Error description

• Storing of customized job information in the data store
  
  This PTF may address the CCQI050S error,
  for example the following message.
  
    Missing DB2 metadata - CCQI050S The "CCQ_DB2_SQLID"
    DB2 parameter in the "HAAﾎDDLY" template does not
    have associated metadata in the CCQﾏﾏDB2
    DB2 parameter metadata

Problem summary

•   USERS AFFECTED:
                    All users of Tools Customizer of z/OS.
  
  
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
                         - Prior to this fix, Tools Customizer
                         (TCz  issued an error message
                         "CCQX001S" or "CCQX002S" when trying
                         to customize product metadata ( DENU
                         library with  a data store dataset
                         other than the data store originally
                         specified the first time the product
                         metadata ( DENU  library was
                         customized. TCz issues this error
                         message "CCQX001S" to inform the user
                         to switch to the data store that was
                         originally specified the first time
                         this product was customized. After this
                         fix is applied, users will be able to
                         customize the same product specifying
                         any TCz data store dataset.
  
                         - When Tools Customizer is started,
                         the Data store data set will be
                         automatically converted to a Fixed
                         Block (FB  format if it is in Variable
                         Block (VB  format. Also, any Data store
                         data set specified in the "Data store
                         data set" field in the SETTINGS Panel
                         will also be converted to a FB format
                         if it has the VB format upon exiting
                         with a PF3 or Save command. If an
                         error occurs during this process, a
                         general error message "CCQD506S" for
                         the conversion and/or "CCQD507W" for
                         the migration will be displayed with
                         more specific messages being logged in
                         the Trace data set (some specific
                         messages require the level setting for
                         the Trace being 4 .
  
                         - TCz will increase the space attribute
                         as part of the conversion process when
                         allocating the data store dataset to FB
                         to increase the capacity. The new
                         allocation attributes have been updated
                         in the following member CCQCDATS in TCz
                         SCCQSAMP library for the data store
                         dataset allocation:

                           Dsntype(Library
                           Blksize(32240
                           Space(250,125
  
                         - TCz alters the space attributes in
                         the allocation of the customization
                         library dataset to increase the
                         capacity.
  
                         - TCz updates the default values for
                         the following DB2 and LPAR parameters.
                         For the users who already used
                         different values that are stored in
                         TCz data store. The stored value will
                         take precedence over the default
                         values:
  
                           ISPF message library
                           ISPF panel library
                           ISPF table input library
                           ISPF skeleton library
                           DB2 storage group
                           DB2 16 KB buffer pool
  
                         - (Internal for TCz enabled to exploit
                         TCz added a couple of DB2 parameters
                         for SQLID and Bind owner.
  
                         - The text in the CCQPNDB panel has
                         been updated to make it clear when
                         DB2 is not required.
  
                         - Currently when the user issues "g"
                         or "GENERATEALL", TCz  displays a
                         misleading message "CCQC035E" when
                         there is a customization issue. This
                         issue has been resolved.
  
  
    RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.
  
  Code has been changed to correct this condition.
