PM85025: DYNAMIC ENABLEMENT OF SPMON USING OPERATOR COMMAND DOES NOT WORKPROPERLY IF OMPE COLLECTOR IS STARTED WITH SPMON=N

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the OMPE Collector is started with the Stored Procedure
  Monitoring feature disabled, enabling the Stored Procedure
  Collector task using the operator command /F <collector-stc>, f
  peserver, f <ssid>,SPMON=Y does not show the desired effect of
  seeing stored procedure related monitoring data in the SQL
  Dashboard or Extended Insight Analysis dashboard.
  

Local fix

• Start the OMPE Collector with SPMON=Y and then disable the
  feature after startup, in case it is not needed and should be
  dynamically turned on at a later point in time.
