APAR status

Error description

  • WTX 8.0 map with input card set to Sink opens with OnSuccess set
to Commit. When exported, Scope is empty and fails validation
against mapimportexport type tree.

Problem Description:
Design Studio exports invalid XML file for the customer given
map source for OnSuccess, OnFailure and Scope settings of the
map resulting validation failure when run against the
mapimnportexport.mtt.

Platforms Affected:
Win32

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed a problem with Design Studio where it sets the OnFailure
to Rollback, OnSuccess to Keep and Scope to Map and
Source/Target adapter to FILE if the card has invalid adapter
type for some reason for older version map sources.

8.3.0.6, 8.4.0.4
