PM82847: METADATA UPDATES AND PRIVATE SUBSETS SPURIOUS LOCKING

Error description

• Dimension read is sometimes locked by unrelated dimension update
  via TI.??With TM1 10.1.1, if while a process is running to
  update a dimension, a?user opens a view that contains a private
  subset, the user has to wait?until the process commits the
  changes.  The same seems to be true if in?Server Explorer the
  user selects a dimension that contains private?subsets with the
  properties window open.  The process is running as a?different
  user to the user opening the view.  The dimension being?updated
  is not used in any cube.  The locking is not reproduced for
  the?same dimension for the same user unless the server is
  restarted, if the?user just logs off and on the locking does not
  reoccur again.  Opening?a private view with public subsets does
  not cause the locking issue, so?it seems to be related to
  private subsets.  If the view has already?been opened by the
  user \ properties window display for dimension by?the user, the
  locking does not occur.? ? ?This does not seem to be the case
  with TM1 9.5.2 FP3.
