Error description

  • A 'Generated DBRC commands' issue was found during internal

    ****************************************************************
A DBD optional keyword for NOTIFY or CHANGE.BKOUT command is
used to identify databases having changes associated with an
unit of recovery (UOR) that require backout.
The number of the database names which can be specified by one
DBD keyword is a maximum of eight.
However, when the UOR has more than eight database names that
require backout, DFR generates the DBRC command with one DBD
keyword that is listed by all database names that require
backout. If the generated DBRC commands are run, the job will
end with a return code of 12 and a 'MSGDSP0204I INVALID VALUE
    FOR PARAMETER DBD' message.

Problem conclusion

  • The following modules have been modified.
    (x = A, B and C)
    *
DFRNBKOx - When an UOR had more than eight database names that
require backout, this module was changed so that the
DBRC command may be divided and outputted for each
DBD keyword that is listed by up to eight database
               names.
