  Some columns in DFSMS_ACTIVTY, DFSMS_BACKUP or DFSMS_MIGRATION
  (_D, _M) tables had integer datatypes when they could possibly
  receive values larger than integer. In particular, the problem
  was noticed on the MSPACE_EXCEED column which was a cumulative
  sum of smaller values.
  
  In diagnosing this issue we noticed that a flag,denoting whether
  values going into these columns were in kilobytes or megabytes,
  was being ignored by the update definitions. Some columns of the
  DFSMS component data tables expect values in kilobytes, and some
  columns of the Resource Accounting for z/OS component data
  tables expect values in megabytes. Consequently, ignoring the
  flag potentially resulted in incorrect data being collected to
  these data tables.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. The datatype of all columns mentioned above are changed from
  integer to float to prevent overflow errors during a collect.
  2. The System Performance Feature Reference Volume I is changed
  to document this change in data type.
  3. Update definitions are changed to allow distinction between
  kilobyte and megabyte values to ensure values are collected
  accurately.
