Error description

• Form based reports written to a pre allocated dataset may cause
  an I/O error when post processing.
  Form-based reports are variable width. If the report width
  changes for any reason then IMSPA changes the data set LRECL,
  causing a potential problem.

  Form-based reports are variable width. If the report width
  changes for any reason then IMSPA changes the data set LRECL,
  causing a potential problem.
  

Problem conclusion

• When the output data set for a form-based report has no
  predefined LRECL then IMSPA will use the report width.
  When the data set has a pre-defined LRECL or is specified
  in the JCL, and it is not the correct LRECL, then IMSPA does
  one of the the following things:
  1. If the LRECL is too small, then the report line will be
     truncated
  2. If the LRECL is too long, then the report line will be
     padded with blanks.
