Error description

  • We can't cancel background reports under the following
    condition.(Data source:TM1)  1 The same reports are running
    concurrently on the same batch process. 2 Cancel an entry from
    the report started later on 'Current Activities' page.  Although
    we can see the entry is removed on  from 'Current Activities'
    page, the reporting process is still running.  Additional info:
    If the canceled report is too large and the reporting process
    continue to run over session inactivity timeout,
    BIBusTKServerMain_seh_****_****.dmp is generated.
    

Local fix

  • 1 Cancel the report started earlier at first on Current Activiti
    es.
    2 Don't run the same reports concurrently.
    3 Set '1' for 'Number of low affinity connections for the batch
    report service' to avoid running reports concurrently on the sam
    e process.
