Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users of Rational RequisitePro client for Windows who work with Views. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When you modify the description of a requirement using the text box located under the RequisitePro explorer, the change is not saved until you left-click on another object. If instead of that, you right-click on a requirement listed in a View and select the "Select in Explorer" option, the current selection is changed without saving the new description text. This action causes that when you left-click on another requirement in the RequisitePro explorer, the new description text will be saved to the clicked requirement.
Problem conclusion
The Rational RequisitePro client for Windows was modified and no w saves the description text before changing the requirement sel ection from a View when using the context menu actions. The fix for this APAR was included in RequisitePro version 7.1.4 , 7.1.3.7 and 7.1.2.11.
