Problem conclusion
Problem has been resolved. Two new members SADBSAMP(ADBCHU01) and SADBSAMP(ADBCHANU) have been added. The purpose of these two SAMP jobs are to upgrade the DB2 Admin Version 7.2 Checkpoint database and DB2 Admin Version 7.2 Change Management (CM) databases to the DB2 Admin Version 10.1 level before upgrading to DB2 Admin Version 10.2. This will resolve the reported BIND errors received from job ADBBIND when attempting to upgrade directly from DB2 Admin Version 7.2 to DB2 Admin Version 10.2. Instructions on how to upgrade the Change Management database from DB2 Admin Version 7.2 to DB2 Admin Version 10.2: First, upgrade from DB2 Admin Version 7.2 to DB2 Admin Version 10.1: 1. Submit 'DMTOOL.ADBA2MPE.SADBSAMP(ADBCHU01)' - job to upgrade the Checkpoint objects from DB2 Admin Version 7.2 to DB2 Admin Version 10.1 (New SAMP member included in PTF) 2. Submit 'DMTOOL.ADBA2MPE.SADBSAMP(ADBCHANU)' - job to upgrade Change Management objects from DB2 Admin Version 7.2 to DB2 Admin Version 10.1 (New SAMP member included in PTF) Second, upgrade from DB2 Admin Version 10.1 to DB2 Admin Version 10.2: 1. Submit TCz job ADBMCMA - JOB TO UPGRADE CHANGE MANAGEMENT DB FROM DB2 ADMIN VERSION 10.1 TO VERSION 10.2. 2. Submit 'DMTOOL.ADBA2MPE.SADBSAMP(ADBCHG01)' 3. Submit 'DMTOOL.ADBA2MPE.SADBSAMP(ADBCHG02)' - (New SAMP member included in PTF). 4. Submit TCz job ADBBIND - Job to BIND DB2 Administration Tool.
