APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Generated recovery job fails to recreate dropped objects, but
step completes with RC=0. This can occur when DML contains
syntax with grave, acute, circumflex, umlaut and tilde
characters.

Local fix

  • For a work around, the user should copy out from the GUI, the
DDL in the SQCR0001 step, execute it via SPUFI or with DSNTEP2,
then edit the job, running it from the second step, step
STUT0002. This should recover the object to the point in time
for them.
