**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All clients of IMS HALDB Toolkit V3R2. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Both the ANALYZEPART and MAINTAIN * * functions fail to check for the 4 * * gigabyte, 4GB, 4G, limit for Partition * * Database sizes. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The ANALYZEPART and MAINTAIN functions are changed to check for the 4 gigabyte limit for Partition Databases. If the 4 gigabyte limit is reached, a new Partition is created.
Problem conclusion
The ANALYZEPART and MAINTAIN functions will no longer show Partition database sizes greater than 4 gigabytes in the IHCLIST SYSOUT file.
