Error description

• Job IZUD01DU has an FTP step to submit a DFDSS Dump job.  The
  job ends with RC12.  Output may show:

  z/OSMF Software Deployment should add the NOJESGETBYDSN
  parameter to the FILETYPE=JES FTP subcommand.  If the FTP server
  has JESGETBYDSN=FALSE, then the FTP job should work.  If the FTP
  server has JESGETBYDSN=TRUE, the FTP GET will fail as above.

  z/OSMF Software Deployment generates various jobs that, when
  run, perform the deployment of a software instance.  The jobs
  are generated in a data set on the target system and must be run
  on the target system.
  
  However, when performing a remote deployment (deploying across
  system boundaries) the generated dump job is the one exception
  and must be run on the source system. This is accomplished by
  using FTP to interface with JES on the source system to submit
  the dump job and to retrieve the job output back to the target
  system.  Specifically, the FTP command SITE FILETYPE=JES tells
  the FTP client and server to process remote job submission
  operations.  The GET command submits a job to run on the FTP
  server (the source system) and returns the job output.
  
  The JESGETBYDSN setting in the FTP server determines how the GET
  operation should be processed.  If the FTP server has
  JESGETBYDSN=FALSE (the default) then the job is submitted and
  its output is retrieved to the client, and the generated job
  should work as designed.
  
  However, if the FTP server has JESGETBYDSN=TRUE then the FTP GET
  attempts to retrieve a JES spool file without submitting the
  specified job, and the FTP fails with
  
  550 Data set 'MVS.ZOSMF.SWDEPL.CNTL' not found
  EZA1735I Std Return Code = 16550, Error Code = 00002
  

Problem conclusion

• The V1R13 z/OSMF Software Deployment task has been modified to
  add the NOJESGETBYDSN parameter to the SITE FILETYPE=JES FTP
  command in the generated FTP jobstep.
