  due to many SHTE blocks in the storage pool .

  *                      is active, the statement cache blocks   *
  *                      2G pool could run out of storage.       *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When trace IFCID401 or IFCID400 is active, DB2 could fail to
  release the storage for the internal data structure. The
  orphaned storage causes statement cache pool full.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 code has been changed to release the storage used for the
  internal data structure.
