**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IMS Problem Investigator V2.2 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Duplicate fields on IRM_F5 FLAG5 * * message structure * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** This APAR is addressing the following issues: 1.The IRM_F5 flag bit descriptions are not correct for some event records. Some are duplicated and others missing 2.Support the new event record changes for IMS Connect APAR PM69983 3.ODBA Code point CC09 is reported and an unknown code point when it is provided by IMS Connect 4.Support the changes to the A000 event record that now reports statistics for the CEX Publisher API. 5.Support the new CEX event 172 x'AC' event for CEX Commands 6.The MQMD section of the OMUSR data was not correctly formatted. 7.If a user added private user data to the end of the OMUSR section of the OTMA control blocks, it was not displayed.
Problem conclusion
The following changes have been made for the above issues: 1.Corrected the knowledge modules to properly present the flag bits for the IRM_F5 flag. 2.Changed the A03D and A03E KM to support the changes introduced by the IMS Connect APAR 3.Added support for code point CC09 4.Changed the A000 KM to support the new Publisher API statistics in the event. 5.Added a new KM to support the new event record. 6.Changed the modules to correctly format the MQMD section of the OMUSR data section of the OTMA headers. 7.Changed the KM's to recoginize and format any private user data added to the end of the standard OMUSR section.
