This APAR enables to store the following reports in IMS Tools
    Knowledge Base output repository.
    - Processing messages for the Image Copy function and the
      Recovery function(DD Name: DFSPRINT)
    - Image Copy Process Summary report(DD Name: FABJSMRY)
    - Image Copy Stacking Process report(DD Name: FABJSTKR)
This enhancement is for FITS MR0827093923.

This APAR also fixes the following problems:
    1. FASTIC DUMP process of the Advanced Image Copy function
terminates with ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 ) when the following
       conditions are satisfied:
       - Running FASTIC DUMP process of Advanced Image Copy
         function
       - Using NOTIFYMODE=COND
       - Using Parallel Image Copy process
       - Using Batch Image Copy
       - Using a data set on direct access device as DFSPRINT
         output
       - Processing full-function database

    2. Recovery function terminates with RC=16 and message ADR001T
( MSGADR001T ) when the following conditions are satisfied:
       - Running Recovery function by FABJMAIN program
       - Using an input image copy data set that is created by Fast
replication function of the IMS Database Image Copy 2
         utility.
       - Not providing SYSPRINT DD card in the running JCL.

Comments

  • After applying APAR PM77057, you must register all the reports
that IMS HP Image Copy can store in IMS Tools Knowledge Base.
The sample JCL for the registration, FABJKBDF, is provided as a
member in the SHPSSAMP data set. Even if IMS HP Image Copy
Version 4 Release 2 has been already defined in the IMS Tools KB
registry by using the ADDPROD statement of the IMS Tools KB
product administration utility (HKTAPRA0), you must run the JCL.
