APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • On ClearQuest Web when you have implemented a Lookup button
    similar to the Search by ID that is default in ClearQuest Web
    left panel, you perform a search on the ID of a user, choose the
    one that fits and when clicking OK no results are transferred to
    the form.
    
    If you hit F5 on your browser it refreshes and the information
    now shows.
    
    That means the information is retrieved, but not displayed as it
    should.
    
    Workaround is to refresh the web page.

    If there are nested fields in a ClearQuest Web form, such as
    Owner.fullname, the field won't be automatically updated if
    the parent field changes, such as Owner.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 8.0.0.6.
    
    The nested fields are now updated automatically in
    ClearQuest Web.
