  • HP Image Copy V4.2 provides a new keyword NOREUSE= that avoids
to reuse the data set of output image copy when NOREUSE of image
copy data set is defined on DBDS record of DBRC RECON data set.

The new keyword NOREUSE= selects whether an image copy data set
is to be reused or not in the Image Copy function.
By specifying NOREUSE=Y, HP Image Copy does not reuse the image
copy data set that is existed in the system, when NOREUSE of
image copy data set is defined in the DBDS record in DBRC.

| the Image Copy function only when the DBDS record of the

|     - The expected image copy data set name that is allocated
|       dynamically has been already cataloged in the system.

|     If HP Image Copy finds any of image copy data set for
|     database data set or area data set is not reused by this
|     option, the Image Copy function ends with a return code of
|     08 and error messages FABJ0166E and FABJ0167E are issued.

|     Specifies that the Image Copy function reuses the image
|     copy data sets even if the DBDS record of the database
|     data set or area data set is registered as NOREUSE in DBRC
|     RECON data sets.

| FABJ0166E REUSE OF THE IMAGE COPY DATA SET IS NOT ALLOWED FOR
| THE FOLLOWING DATABASE DATA SETS.

| Explanation: NOREUSE=Y is specified and HP Image Copy finds
| the same data set name in the catalog that is expected to
| allocate as an output image copy data set dynamically.
| The problem database and image copy data set is reported by
| FABJ0167E message text.
| System Action: The Image Copy process terminates with a return
| code of 08.
| User Response: Change the data set naming template of image
| copy data set and rerun the job.

FABJIDXN have been modified to be able to specify the NOREUSE=
keyword.

FABJMSGC has been modified to add the FABJ0166E and FABJ0167E
messages.

FABJMAIN has been modified to check whether the image copy data
set is reuseable or not.

FABJRCHK has been modified to obtain the NOREUSE status in DBDS
record of DBRC RECON data sets.
