Error description
In IBM Rational RequisitePro version 7.1.2.x up to 7.1.3.3: When trying to delete a requirement that resides in a Word document, trough ReqWeb?Edit, of a requirement type that holds a numerique value in its prefix, an error occurs saying that you do not have the necessary privileges to delete requirements of this type. Steps to repproduce: - Create a custom requirement type having Prefix with numeric values Eg: P1FUNC, either in ReqPro Client or ReqWeb. - Open a document either in Reqweb or ReqPro client and create a Requirement ( of the Requirement type created in previous step) - Open the same document in Reqweb in Editable mode. - Open downloaded document and try deleting the Requirement created in earlier step - The following error pops up, when trying to delete the requirement of type having number in the Prefix: ' You do not have the necessary privileges to delete requirements of this type. ' Workaround: Delete the requirement from the document opened from withing the RequisitePro Windows client.

Problem Description: RequisiteWeb is not able to obtain requirement prefix information when deleting a requirement whose requirement type include a numeric value in its prefix, as a result an error message is displayed saying that you do not have the necessary privileges to delete requirements of this type.
Problem conclusion
RequisiteWeb logic was updated to obtain requirement prefix information in order to delete a requirement even if the requirement prefix includes a numeric value. The fix for this APAR was included in RequisitePro version 7.1.2.10 and 7.1.3.6
