When trying to delete a requirement that resides in a Word
document, trough ReqWeb?Edit, of a requirement type that holds a
numerique value in its prefix, an error occurs saying that you
do not have the necessary privileges to delete requirements of

    - Create a custom requirement type having Prefix with numeric
values Eg: P1FUNC, either in ReqPro Client or ReqWeb.
    - Open a document either in Reqweb or ReqPro client and create a
Requirement ( of the Requirement type created in previous step)
    - Open the same document in Reqweb in Editable mode.
    - Open downloaded document and try deleting the Requirement
    created in earlier step
    - The following error pops up, when trying to delete the
requirement of type having number in the Prefix:
' You do not have the necessary privileges to delete
    requirements of this type. '

    Workaround:
Delete the requirement from the document opened from withing the

Users of Rational RequisiteWeb (RequisiteWeb) deleting a
document based requirement using online document editing
    feature.

    Problem Description:
RequisiteWeb is not able to obtain requirement prefix

  • RequisiteWeb logic was updated to obtain requirement prefix
information in order to delete a requirement even if the
requirement prefix includes a numeric value.
