  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The customer is running CSQ1LOGP against an archive log with
input SUMMARY(ONLY) or SUMMARY(YES). The outputs do not include
CSQ1272I or CSQ1273I for the first and last LRSN. This APAR is
taken so that CSQ1LOGP can be changed to give the
CSQ1272I/CSQ1273I messages without the need to specify
    LRSNSTART/LRSNEND.

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
When CSQ1LOGP is run against the logs of any queue manager,
messages CSQ1212I and CSQ1213I are included in the output. These
describe the first and last RBA's encountered. When the CSQ1LOGP
utility is run against the logs of a queue manager in a queue
sharing group, messages for the first and lastlog LRSN's
encountered, CSQ1272I and CSQ1273I are not included in the
output by default. These messages are only shown when the
LRSNSTART and LRSNEND parameters are set for the utility. This
difference in behaviour between RBA and LRSN is not desirable
    for this utility.

Problem conclusion

  • The CSQ1LOGP utility has been altered to change to the behaviour
of the LRSN messages CSQ1272I and CSQ1273I to be inline with
the behaviour shown for the RBA messages CSQ1212I and CSQ1213I.
The messages CSQ1272I and CSQ1273I will now be shown by default
when run against the logs of a queue manager that is a member
of a queue sharing group, allowing the first and last log LRSN
to be viewed without the need to set the LRSNSTART and LRSNEND
    parameters.
