APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a password has expired in LDS, the user is prompted to
    change the password upon login to the Cognos portal in 10.1.1.
    This behaviour does not occur in 8.4.1 with the latest fix pack
    applied.  The message returned is simple "invalid credentials"
    with no mechanism to allow the user to change their password
    from the portal screen.
