PM71090: COGNOS BI 10.1.1 DOES NOT START AFTER APPLYING FP1, THROWS ERRORS

APAR status

Error description

  • After applying FP1 onto Cognos BI 10.1.1 on AIX, starting the
    environment runs into a timeout and throws CFG-ERR-0106. The
    cbs_start.log shows "CAM-CRP-0026 The underlying socket:
    '<IP>:<Port>' returned an error".
    

Local fix

  • - copy bootstrap_aix64.xml from 10.1 RP1 into the /bin64 directo
    ry - all services will start as usual
