APAR status

Error description

• The Queue Manager is going short-on-storage ( SOS ) as eSAL
  control blocks are being leaked. An eSAL control block is
  leaked each time a serialized application (in this case
  shared channel XGWX.TO.XGDY) issues an MQGET which fails with
  MQRC_TRUNCATED_MSG_FAILED.

  A serialised application attempts to get a message from a shared
  queue, causing the message to be read from the CF and a SALE to
  be created. When the message is copied to the application
  buffer, the buffer is found to be too small leading to the get
  failing MQRC_TRUNCATED_MSG_FAILED.
  CSQESYNC is called to backout the read of the message, and this
  causes the SALE to be deleted from the admin structure, however
  the in storage representation of the SALE, and the related eTHDT
  are not freed.
  Over time this storage blocks accumulate, potentially leading to
  the queue manager encountering a short on storage condition.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQETHDP is changed to free the eSALE and eTHDT blocks when
  called from CSQESYNC to backout the last operation.
