Error description

  • A report with default prompt values will work as expected in
    Cognos Connection. However when running the report in Mobile
    app, it will show an autogenerated prompt page.
    

Local fix

  • In order to go around the problem follow the steps outlined belo
    w: 1) Open Cognos Connection and locate the Report object 2) In
    the Actions columns hit the "Set properties" icon (first one) 3)
     Select the second tab labeled "Report", to modify report behavi
    or 4) Locate the section: "Prompt values" and note the checkbox
    "Prompt for values" is checked. 5) Uncheck the "Prompt for value
    s" and hit OK to save the changes.  Users running the report via
     Cognos Mobile will no longer see a prompt page being generated
    and the report will run.
