Error description

• OMPE attempts to access storage that is not page fixed
  
  This only effects DB2 V10 subsystems.
  
  DBM1 address space shows abend.
  
  IEA794I SVC DUMP HAS CAPTURED:  924
  DUMPID=001 REQUESTED BY JOB (*MASTER*)
  DUMP TITLE=COMPON=MEDIA MANAGER, COMPID=DF126, ISSUER=ICYFRR
  
  The dump indicates that the abend is in module KO2EIX2K.
  

Local fix

• Issue the following command for your DB2 V10 systems
  
  If you specify more than one DB2 ID, you must enclose the string
  in parenthesis
  
  F cccccccc,F EVENTMGR,STOP DB2=(db2ssid1,db2ssid2,...db2ssidn)
  
  where:
  * cccccccc is the started task name that you specify for the
  OMEGAMON Collector during the configuration within the
  
  * db2ssid is the identifier of the DB2 subsystem for which
  object and volume analysis collectors should be stopped
  
  Or in RKD2PAR(U) find the start up member, the member with
  the same name as the started task for the OMEGAMON DB2 Collector
  task. To prevent Object Analysis from starting all together
  comment out (* in column 1) of the line that reads EXEC STRTOA
  
  If you only want to prevent Object Analysis ( OA ) from starting
  for the DB2 V10 subsystems edit the STRTOA member and comment
  out the F EVENTMGR,START DB2=ssid,INTERVAL=nn  statements for
  the DB2 V10 systems.
