PM69103: PERMISSIONS FOR THE CONFIGURED NAME SPACE ITSELF ARE NOT REFLECT ED AFTER IMPORTING ENTIRE CONTENT STORE TO TARGET ENVIRONMENT

Error description

  • The customer changes the permissions for the configured name
    space via IBM Cognos Administration and then creates the entire
    content store deployment package in source environment. ?After
    that, they imported the deployment package to the target
    environment. However, the changes of the permissions are not
    reflected to the target environment. ?As per the following
    description in linked below, they are using the same
    authentication source for both source and target environment.
    ??-----?For access permissions to work after entries are
    deployed, the source environment and the target environment must
    ?use the same authentication provider with the same
    configuration. Otherwise, the permissions may not work after
    deployment.?-----??Also, as per the following description in
    linked below, the behavior is a product defect.??-----?If you

  • Edit permissions for name space itself on target environment as
    well.
