  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  The current support to monitor DB2 z/OS stored procedures using
  graphical user interfaces is very limited. Running SQL Activity
  Traces is an alternative, but this might not be acceptable due
  to significant overhead imposed on the DB2 z/OS subsystem.
  
  
  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
  DB2 for z/OS 10 APAR PM53243 introduced enhanced
  instrumentation to better support monitoring of Stored
  Procedures and UDFs. This instrumentation has already been
  exploited in OMEGAMON DB2 Performance Expert/Monitor Version
  5.1.1 via batch RECORD TRACE.
  
  In addtion to the RECORD TRACE support, by applying this new
  function APAR in conjunction with the respective Repository
  Server, Web Console and Data Tools Runtime Client levels
  (see PM70645), OMEGAMON DB2 Performance_Expert_ users are
  now given the unique capability to monitorStored Procedures
  end to end (via the same web console that delivers Extended
  Insight end-to-end SQL monitoring) as well as being able to
  drill down or zoom into a Stored Procedure, thus showing
  which SQL statements have been executed or which nested Stored
  Procedure calls have been made.
