PM67271: RSV-RND-0089 ERROR WITH COMBINATION OF RENDER VARIABLE AND DRILL UP/DOWN AND CONDITIONAL RENDERING

Error description

• Client has a report with a crosstab that uses conditional
  rendering on two text items in the fact cells, drill enabled.
  There is a value prompt which populates the crosstab columns,
  and a text item which shows the ParamDisplayValue of the value
  prompt. The text item also has conditional rendering based on a
  second variable.??If you drill up in the crosstab and then
  select something in the value prompt, you receive the
  error:??RSV-RND-0089 Failed to evaluate expression: 'case when
  [Query1].[Product line] contains 'Products' then 'No' else 'Yes'
  end'.??which refers to the variable expression used on the
  crosstab. ??If you remove the unrelated render variable on the
  text item, or do the prompt/drill in opposite order, it works
  fine.
  

Local fix

• Add a new data item to the query with expression caption([Produc
  t line]), project that onto the crosstab rows by selecting the p
  roduct line Crosstab Node Member and adding it into the Properti
  es property, and then change the Drill Display variable to refer
   to the new data item.
