   A nonnumeric or national literal containing
  double-byte characters was found which exceeded the maximum
  literal length or reached end of area 'B' before terminating.  A
  literal delimiter was placed at column 72 of line 3377.

  When statement trace was used and there was an assignment of
  a longer DBCS literal to a field, the  COBOL source used for
  the statement trace was getting a compiler error due to a
  missing shift in/out character.
  

Problem conclusion

• The statement trace now moves all DBCS literals from the
  text being generated, but only for the tracing. The program
  will still work the same.
