PM67027: SOME VTAM ISSUES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1)Zooming(PF11) of Jobname does not work on stored procedures
  and user-defined functions for WLMA and RRSA commands.
  2) Zoom on IMS region in panel ZISSM displays the message:
   "No thread information for IMS control region."

  3)On panel ZBACKT command BATA displays jobs which originate
  StoredProcedues and UDF threads.
  Command THDB on the same panel shows these threads as Background
  threads because of matching JOBNAME field.
  Such threads should be shown only on corresponding panels ZSTPT
  (Stored Procedures Thread Summary) and ZRRSAT(Functions Thread
  Summary).
  
  4)On panel ZBACKT thread's counter does not include 'Child'
  threads for command BATA. Zooming(PF11) of Jobname does not
  display 'Child' threads too.

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  1. General enhancements for child threads:
  1.1. The logic was cleared/corrected for child threads
  concerning their type, displaying corrid or jobname and so on.
  1.2. Child threads for CICS and IMS were missed.
  1.3. Corrupted USERID was displayed for TSO child threads.
  
  2. Correction several problems:
  2.1. Helps for commands ATSS, MENU, MENX, THDQ were missed.
  2.2. Incorrect fastpath was displayed on the panel ZCHANGE.
  Correct fastpath did not work.
  2.3. Message KO2O0759W can appear on Classic screen when STPO
  command is used.
  2.4. Help panels did not describe all possible threads' types.
  2.5. RRSA command did not work if the remote DB2 subsystem was
  on infoline.
  2.6. There was only one control region on panel ZISSM. Zoom on
   such region displayed the message: "No thread information for
  IMS control region."
  2.7. Displaying of user defined function or stored procedure,
  which is not running in defined DB2 subsystem on infoline,
  caused to Program Check - Recovery Successful-STOB+02F2.

  1. General enhancements for child threads:
  1.1. The logic was cleared/corrected for child threads
  concerning their type, displaying corrid or jobname and so on.
  1.2. Displaying of child threads for CICS and IMS was added.
  1.3. USERID for TSO child threads was corrected.
  
  2. Correction several problems:

  2.2. Fastpath was corrected for the panel ZCHANGE.
  2.3. STPO command should work without any KO2O0759W message on
  the screen.
